Danny Grause’s music starts with solid country and Americana lyrics as the foundation. As a top-notch guitar player and multi-instrumentalist Danny is well known for weaving many influences into his live shows and taking the listener on a virtual road trip full of twists, turns, and occasional stops in funky town.

Danny proudly represents Iowa as a founding Midwest Country Music Organization member in his home state.  Originating in Minnesota, the organization has branched out to states all over the Midwest. Danny and his fellow members continue to raise the level of offerings in the Midwest, whether it be through Songwriter showcases, musical collaborations, or just helping fellow musicians get back on the road.

Danny’s new release, “Man On A Mountain (2022),” is the first single to come from a long line of more subdued, real-to-life tracks he penned during the COVID-19 pandemic. The song was an escape in many ways but also a song about redemption and finding a way to get your mind right and carry on.

Authentic country lyrics mixed with driving rhythms, funky grooves, and high-octane guitar mayhem. Danny’s brand-new album “Long Dark Night” is a perfect introduction for new fans, and it’s a virtual road trip for anyone who believes that “Country” is merely a state of mind. Danny’s signature sound made him a finalist in the Zac Brown Band “Sailing Southern Ground Contest,” and he continues to gain momentum all over the Midwest. He has shared the stage with great national acts such as Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, Frankie Ballard, Will Hoge, Toby Keith, and Clare Dunn. His songs have been featured in several TV and radio projects, and his new album is already gaining traction on regional and satellite radio. ”He sings like Lee Brice, plays guitar like John Mayer, and lays down a funky groove like Bruno Mars. It sounds so good you almost forget how good his lyrics are. That’s Danny Grause.”  – Paul “PT” Thomas, Radio Host and Midwest CMA Founder
