Call for Art: 2023 Regional Art Exhibition

Orange City Arts is currently accepting submissions for the 11th annual artist’s showcase, 2023 Regional Art Exhibition: Primary Colors, June 5-21, 2023, in Orange City, IA. This year’s theme is titled ‘Primary Colors,’ in which at least one of the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) is used as a primary artistic element.

This juried exhibit is open to any artist, age 18 and older, residing within a 350-mile radius of Orange City, Iowa. The artwork must be original in concept, composition, and execution and have been created in the past three years. Pieces may not have been shown previously in an Orange City Arts exhibit, and entries will be juried. Cash awards will be given to Best in Show and Honorable Mention. This year’s juror is local artist Rein Vanderhill. There is no entry fee, and the exhibit will be free to the public. The submission deadline is May 15, 2023.
