The 2023 OnStage Season Kicks off June 7

Orange City, Iowa – The Orange City Arts 2023 OnStage season will kick off with Richie Lee & the
Fabulous ’50s at Windmill Park on June 7
and feature the Regional Art Show, June 5 – 21 at the
Stadscentrum building in downtown Orange City.

Orange City Arts is proud to host once again the rock and roll band Richie Lee & the Fabulous
50s at Windmill Park downtown on June 7, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. This event will launch the Art Council’s 2023 OnStage season. It will begin at 5:00 P.M. with various food trucks, including the Regional Art Show featuring local and regional artists’ works which will be on display in the Stadscentrum building in downtown Orange City. Richie Lee will perform at 7:00 P.M., bringing back classic rock and roll hits.

Before the music begins, art enthusiasts can enjoy the 2023 Regional Art Show, which features thirty-one works of art by local and regional artists, coordinating with this year’s theme, ‘Primary Colors.’ The show runs June 5 – 21, with a closing reception on June 21 at 6 pm, when awards will be presented.

Richie Lee & the Fabulous 50s will showcase the variety of the rock genre and the sounds that
captivated hearts many years ago. The band seeks to bring rock and roll music back to life,
inspire the younger generation, stay true to the original sound of the covers they play, and
create a joyful atmosphere and a sense of nostalgia. The Fabulous 50s features Richie Lee, Tony
Halsrud, Hank Muzney, and Justin Cramer, who all blend vocals with the guitar, keyboard, bass,
and drums—bringing back songs from Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Ricky Nelson, and The Beach
Boys. This band is sure to please everyone of all ages.
