Theme Overview:
"Stewards of Creation" invites artists to explore humanity’s role as caretakers of the Earth, celebrating the beauty of creation while reflecting on our responsibility to protect and nurture it.
Artistic Direction Suggestions:
- Celebration of Natural Beauty:
Create 2-D and 3-D works showcasing pristine landscapes, wildlife, and ecosystems as symbols of divine creation and the splendor of nature. - Environmental Challenges and Hope:
Address critical issues like deforestation, pollution, and climate change, juxtaposed with themes of restoration, renewal, and the resilience of nature. - Abstract and Symbolic Interpretations:
Develop abstract or symbolic pieces that delve into the spiritual connection between humanity and the natural world, offering personal or universal perspectives on the sacred bond between people and nature.
